Social Education Center Tokai University
Shizuoka Prefecture Shizuoka Area

Tokai University runs its own Marine Science Museum and a Natural History Museum. At the Marine Science Museum you can see 400 species of fish at the first-floor aquarium. On the second floor, you can enjoy robot fish swimming in the mechanical aquarium and the thrill of fish coming at you from the screen of the high-definition 3D theater.
The Natural History Museum has great displays, such as fossil skeletons of a a 26-meter diplodocus and of a tarbosaurus, with rows of knife-like teeth, the fiercest dinosaur found in Asia. A play corner, great fun for younger children, ensures that all members of the family have a great time.
