Kiln Plaza and The World Tile Museum

The kiln, which was used for baking clay pipes and tiles in the past, has been preserved and is now open as an archive museum. The kiln is designated as a registered tangible cultural property (it was designated in 1997). The square-shaped chimney is made of bricks, and was also designated as a registered tangible cultural property. The chimney is 21m tall and has a 2.2m diameter.

Take a bus bound for Chita-handa from Tokoname station on Meitetsu Tokoname line. Get off at "Tokoname Higashiguchi" stop and then walk for 2 minutes.
