The Museum of Modern Art, Toyama
Toyama Prefecture Toyama Area

This museum features a large exhibition space in a building, which has white granite and mirror glass as walls. This looks great against the greenery outside. It is a representative facility in Toyama prefecture, which was opened in July 1981. The museum aims to provide a fresh encounter with art through actively trying to present the history of art from the beginning of the 20th century to the present from the three perspectives of the world, Japan, and Toyama.
