The museum displays works adorned with the beauty of Japanese culture, which has been cultivated in the long tradition of Japanese art, such as India ink painting, folding screens, and picture scrolls. The works made by about 30 artists including Tomioka Tessai, Takeuchi Seihou, Yokoyama Taikan, Hishida Shunsou, Kobayashi Kokei, Doumoto Inshou, Yokoyama Misao and Kayama Matazou are preserved here, and about 25 works are displayed as permanent exhibition.
