Zuisen-ji Temple

Zuisen-ji temple, one of the foremost temple buildings in Japan, dominated 370 branch temples all over Japan as the large base for Ecchu Ikkou Ikki (literally "single-minded leagues") and served to protect the light of the law from the warriors during the Age of the Civil Wars. It has a stone fence like a castle wall. Sculptures engraved in various parts of the temple shows the high level of skill in Inami Sculpture.
