Central Alps Komagatake Ropeway

Nagano Prefecture Nanshin Area

This is the highest rope way of 950m tall which has Senjoujiki Station located at 2,661.5m above sea level. You can ride above the clouds in about 8 minutes. This is also the first mountain ropeway which goes right beneath the Houkendake in the Central Alps (2,931m above sea level), commonly known as "Senjoujiki Curl." The ropeway operates throughout the year.
