Ishikawa Prefectural Museum for Traditional Products and Crafts

Ishikawa Prefecture Kanazawa Area

The museum used to be a site for the former prefectural art museum. The museum displays many traditional industrial arts and art works of Kutani pottery, Kaga Yuzen dyeing, and Wajima lacquerware that developed in the rich climate of Ishikawa prefecture. There is a tea room in the annex building where visitors can enjoy maccha tea.

From JR Kanazawa station, take a Hokutetsu Bus to Dewamachi (in front of the national hospital). Then walk for 1 minute.

The 3rd Thusdays between April and November, Year's End and New Year holiday period.

Entry fee

1st floor for free, Regular entrance fee for the 2nd floor: Adults 250yen, Children 100 yen, 65 yrs old and up 200yen.
