Ishikawa Prefecture Kanazawa Area

This hall introduces the history of karakuri which originated as entertainment for common people during the Edo period. There is an exhibition room introducing Ono Benkichi, who was a puppeteer at the end of the Edo period. Tea-carrying dolls and devices used for kabuki performances are also on display.
