This is a exhibition hall for Zeniya Gohei who was a wealthy merchant at the end of the Edo period. The museum introduces the history of Zeniya Gohei from his birth up to his death in prison. he was imprisoned after failing in a business enterprise over reclamation work in Kahokugata Lake. His story is told through a theater, a Kitamae ship diorama (1/4 size of the actual size of the ship), and a Business Zone Map searching device. In the Memorial Hall, visitors can look at a diorama made in the 1/4 size of the actual ship. Zenigo theater presents the life of Gohei through an animation.

From JR Kanazawa station, take a Hokutetsu Bus to Nishi-keisatsusho-mae (in front of the Zeniya Gohei Memorial Hall). Then walk for 5 mins.

Every Tuesdya from December~April (if national holiday, closed the next day), Year's End and New Year holiday period (Dec 29th~Jan 3rd), but open throughout from May to November
