Notojima Glass Art Museum

Ishikawa Prefecture Noto Area

This museum specializes in glass art which is not so common in Japan. Various kinds of works including those from the Chinese Qing dynasty, sculptural works based on original ideas by the great artists in the 20th century, and objects of various shapes. Visitors can relish the charms of glass works in the atmospheric exhibition room. It is also fun to walk in the outdoor exhibition plaza or shop at the museum shop where various glass items are sold.

Access (nearest railway station)

From Wakura onsen station, take a Noto-jima kotsu bus bound for Notojima rinkai koen and get off at Bijutsukan-mae.

9:00~17:00 (Entrance till 16:30), Open till 16:30 from December to March (Entrance till 16:00)

The 3rd Tuesdays (If national holiday, closed the next day) and Year's End and New Year holiday period

General 800yen (700yen), Free of charge fro children up to and including junior high school students ※fees shown in ()applies to a group of more than 20 people
