Ryugashido Cave
Shizuoka Prefecture Hamamatsu Area
Ryugashido Cave is a large cave in southern base of Mount Ryugashi in a layer of about 2 hundred and 50 million thousand years ago. Visitors can explore about 400m deep in the cave, which is about 1000m deep in total. There is a great waterfall of about 30m high and many limestones inside the cave. The mystery of nature grabs the hearts of the visitors.

Taka a bus bound for Okuyama from the bus terminal at the north exit of JR Hamamatsu station for about 50 minutes. Get off at "Ryugashido-Iriguchi" and walk for about 5 minutes.
