Rengeji-ike Park
Shizuoka Prefecture Suruga Area
The park is built in 28ha size land on a hill surrounding Rengeji pond, which is 5.5ha size and 1.5km diameter. There are flower beds, wisteria trellis, azalea and lotus gardens as well as a boat station, a waterfall plaza, a fountain plaza and a garden attracting wild birds. There is also a jumbo slider, athletic equipment and art and recreation areas. Rengeji-ike pond has a fireworks festival in August every year.
