Shizuoka Prefecture Shizuoka Area

The collection includes many works which have nature as their subject matter, such as "Girl Herding Pings" by Paul Gauguin, landscape paintings after the 17th century by Monet and Vlaminck, as well as Ranteikyokusui-ryuzankatukai-zu by Ikeno Taiga. In the Rodin Wing, works relating to Rodin that were created in the 19th and the 20th centuries are displayed. This includes 32 works by Rodin such as The Gates of Hell and The Burthers of Calais. Apart from these permanent exhibitions planned exhibitions are also held in this museum. Outside the museum building, there is a promenade where sculptures are displayed.

Combination ticket to enter both the permanent exhibition and the Rodin Wing/ Adults 300yen ・ Free of charge for children up to and including high school students ・ Group discount available from more than 20 people  ※Separate fee apply for planned exhibitions.
