The Tokugawa Art Museum

Aichi Prefecture Nagoya area

It houses approximately 30,000 tools that belonged to daimyo (Japanese feudal lords) in the Owari branch of the Tokugawa family. Nine works are designated as national treasures, fifty seven works as important cultural properties, and forty seven works as important art objects.

Take a No.2 Nagoya city bus from Nagoya or Sakae station. Get off at "Shindeki" and then walk for 3 minutes.

10:00~17:00(60 minu) ※Entrance till 16:30

Closed

Mondays (If national holiday, closed the next day) and Year's End and New Year holiday period.

Entry fee

General: 1200yen(1000yen) High school and university students: 700yen (600 yen) Elementary and junior high school students: 500yen (400yen) * In case of a group of more than people, fees in ( ) apply.

Parking

Parking for 17 passenger cars (Free of charge) and 80 cars including large-sized buses (fees apply).
