Amagi-san Zuido

Shizuoka Prefecture Izu Area

Amagi-san Zuido was built at 711m above sea level, and it is the longest tunnel made of stone in Japan. It was designated as an important cultural property. Zuido is still in its original state, even after 100 years, which shows the skill of Meiji period craftsmen.
