Akame 48 Waterfalls located at the upper stream of Taki River located in the border of Iga and Yamato is creating a beautiful art work of grand nature. These waterfalls are located in the center of the Murou Akame Aoyama National Park and it extends 4km long. The mysterious nature in Akame was chosen as one of the best 100 waterfalls and forests in Japan. It is also chosen as one of the best 100 walking spots. The elegant colors and harmonious sounds of waterfalls, streams and trees will let you enjoy nature even more.

Take a bus from Kintetsu Akameguchi station and get off at Akamedaki(10 mins bus ride)/ about 15 mins from Meihan national highway Hari IC.
