At this theme park, you can find out all about pearls. This is the place where, for the first time in the world, Kokichi Mikimoto successfully cultured pearls.
Enjoy visiting the Pearl Museum, which shows how pearls are cultured, and see amazing pearl art and craft items. At the Kokichi Mikimoto Memorial Hall, you can find out about the life of the King of Pearls, Kokichi Mikimoto. Enjoy dining and shopping at the pearl shop and restaurants of Pearl Plaza. Throughout the year, from the wharf, you can see the Ama pearl-diving demonstration.
