Okage Yokocho is a town tha reproduces the streets of Iseji Road, created in appreciation of Ise Jingu Shrine. Okage means "thanks to." Oharaimachi is a town located in front of the Torii gate to Ise Jingu where a local specialty "Akafuku" (sweets made of red bean paste and sticky rice cake) has been sold for more than 300 years thanks to Ise Jingu. Okage Yokocho is not a theme park so anyone can enter freely. Visitors can experience the Mie local food, local specialties, history, customs and feel the heart of Mie people. Okage Yokocho is a relaxing, nostalgic place although it seems like it holds a festival everyday, Location: Okage Yokocho is located in the midde of Oharaimachi, which is a town in front of Torii gate in the inner shrine.

15 mins by bus bound for Naigu from Kintetsu Ujiyamada station; get off at Jingu Kaikan-mae; then, one mins walk/ about 5 mins by car from Ise-nishi IC on Ise expressway via Route 23.
