Kitabata Shrine is dedicated to the ancester of an Ise lord who flourished in Taki Imperial Palace in Okuitsushi. The garden in the precinct is representative of Nanbokucho period and is magnificent. It is designated as a national scenic spot and a historical site. This wildly styled garden expresses the sense of beauty among the local wealthy families at the time. It is the one of the three greatest gardens for military commanders.
