Port of Nagoya Public Aquariam

Aichi Prefecture Nagoya area

This aquarium is one of the largest aquariums in the world. It consists of two main areas: the North Hall, which was built in the theme of “A long journey of 3.5 billion years ? animals who returned to the ocean,” and the South Hall, which was built in the theme of “A Journey to the South Pole.” The aquarium provides a chance to learn ocean ecology while having fun by looking at a dolphin show in the main pool. There is an Ocean Theater with a large screen, a Penguin Water Tank and a large water tank containing creatures from the Japan Current. The museum has other facilities like a museum shop and a few restaurants.
