Rokkaen Garden, which was completed in 1913, has a Western hall, a Japanese building and a garden. The Western hall was designed by an English architect Josiah Conder and the hall has four-layered tower. In front of the Japanese building is a garden with numerous viewing spots around a pond. As a valuable architecture representing Meiji and Taisho period, Rokkaen Garden is designated as a national important cultural property. The garden is also designated as national scenic spot, except for some parts. The Western hall is lit up till 10 o'clock at night. For children up to and including elementary school students need to be accompanied by an adult to enter.

Take a local loop-line bus from JR or Kintetsu Kuwana station, and get off at Tamachi bus stop; then, walk for 10 mins/20 mins by car from Kuwana IC on Higashi-Meihan expressway.
