Wild Lily of the Valley Sanctuary

Suzuran kogen, which is located 1350 meters above sea level, commands a great view of the Northern Alps Mountain Range. In between white birch trees and a larch tree forest in Suzukan-kogen are treasury for wild alpine plants such as lilies of the valley and lotus flower azaleas. The lily of the valley, which is designated as the prefectural natural treasure, is best seen around the beginning of June.
